Wes Brown now declared bankrupt

Former England and Manchester United defender Wes Brown is now declared bankrupt after one year of Divorce from his ex-wife Leanne.

Wes Brown, a former defender for Manchester United and England, has been declared bankrupt by the High Court.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the UK government’s tax agency, filed a bankruptcy suit against Brown on February 27.
Brown reportedly made £50,000 per week when playing for Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Particulars of Wes Brown’s bankruptcy

A petition filed against the 43-year-old former footballer was reportedly rubber-stamped in the High Court on April 12 and put on The Gazette, the official public record, according to a report from the Daily Mail on Thursday, April 20.
Just over a year ago, Brown discreetly divorced his 46-year-old wife Leanne, a cast member of the reality TV series Real Housewives of Cheshire.

In 2009, they got married, and they have three daughters together.

Leanne, Wes, and their children Halle, Lilia, and Lola reportedly moved out of the house that Wes shared with them.

Leanne and Wes broke up before Christmas [2021]. There were no other parties involved; the terrible fact that their marriage has failed is all that exists.

Leanne has prospered as a single woman and has taken off her wedding band. According to a source who spoke to The Sun at the time, “She has told people she feels free and is working hard on her businesses and flourishing as an independent woman.”

The former couple are making an effort to live separate lives and co-parent their children, the insider continued.
